FLIPFIX is a single prong, folding, golf pitch/turf repair tool. Most golf course superintendents agree that single prong tools are better for golf greens. They also make for easier and cleaner work of repairing ball marks. There are issues however with single prong as well. Most are quite awkward looking and make for uncomfortable stowing in your pocket. Ideally single prongs should be thin in diameter and moderately sharp to limit further damage to the green, but this poses issues both for carrying and safely retrieving and stowing on each hole. FLIPFIX was created to solve this little design dilemma by folding the single prong back into the handle. Thoughtful consideration has been made concerning the usability of FLIPFIX. Opening and closing is a one-handed operation complete with audible and tactile snap feedback. This allows users to retrieve, open, use the tool, and close with one hand without even looking at the product. Once repairs have been made to the green, FLIPFIX’s magnet secured coin can be slid off the end of the handle to mark the ball... all completed with one hand. After re-positioning the ball on the green, simply hover the magnetic handle over the coin and FLIPFIX picks up the coin. Rolling the ball in the hole however is up to you.
